Troubleshooting • lens.google.com using 100% GPU constantly

I use Google Images to find the original source of pictures I see.
Today I noticed that using this site makes the mouse laggy and the GPU monitor on the panel shows 99%. But no elements on the website are being animated. Once the site loads, there is no movement on the page at all, so I am not sure what could be causing this.

Opening Task Manager (lxtask) shows that a chromium-browser process is the highest user of GPU, with wayfire taking an abnormally high second place. Part of the command line for this task is: chromium-browser --type=gpu-process

Here is an example URL to see this in action.

Using a Pi5 running latest PiOS Bookworm 64-bit with chromium-browser 122. Not sure if this issue is a regression from today's chromium-browser update, or if it was present in the past.
