I am totally in that camp... Will order a 16GB Pi as soon as they are released/or available for pre-order. Same for the Pi 6.It's amazing how we have had so many posts in the past along the lines of "I would happily pay more for more RAM/faster CPU/RTC/Power button" and yet now we have those things people complain about the price.
I'm still astonished at the price of the Pi in general.
I acknowledge that I have the luxury that they fit into the disposable income purchase category, and I have had more enjoyment fiddling with them than I have had with other electronics in a very long time. To put it in perspective, a case (24) of decent beer is $72, Friday night pizza is over $50, a tank of gas is $85. An under one hundred dollar new release SBC is a bargain, at today's post Covid inflation prices.
