You were not calling out the issue with systemd directly

I think you saw something in my post that wasn't there; I actually actively avoid talking about it because I know it triggers some people. It's neither here nor there, to each their own, live together in peace, six of one half a dozen of the other etc etc. I can't explain what python3-picamera2 wants with all that desktop crap, but thankfully I don't need to either.
