You don't mention your 3D printer and setup.I would like to use it with mjpg-streamer to be used with Octoprint, in order to monitor the progress of my 3D prints.
I use cheaper Pi3A+ Raspberry and cheap v1 camera clone as Octoprint scene camera for my Prusa Mini+.

WS2812B rings are easily sopported and cheap:

For small cameras like your v3 or my v1 camera clone, one can fixate LED ring directly on camera module with 2 drops of superglue:

This allows being able to just "look" at a 3Dprint at night when printer room is dark.
