Not that I'd recommend it, but you might be able to run Buster if you update the boot files with ones from Bookworm. I did this with a Wheezy (even older) system that I moved from a Pi 2B to a Pi 4B. I also upgraded the kernel and modules, but I couldn't go for the latest for some reason.Well, it looks like Buster isn't even an option for my Raspberry Pi 4B.
I installed Buster using the super-helpful and user-friendly Raspberry Pi Imager app,
and then when I tried to boot the Pi off of it, I got the message:So, it looks like it's Bookworm or nothing! Image may be NSFW.Code:
