The new build is about as perfect as it can get on Pi 3 B+. I plan on getting a Pi 4 B soon hopefully to check that at and use as a build machine because the 3 is quite slow building C++. I checked out the games included with Raspberry Pi OS made with pygame, and they are obviously in a very small window for a reason and still run a bit slow on Pi 3 B+ as well. So I'm doing everything I can. And in the new window size (which is standard definition, 854x480, same height as 'Boing' etc only a little wider) everything runs OK (note that the plasma example takes about 20 seconds to generate...)
Just to note: BooBoo completes 1 million iterations of the Leibniz Pi calculation in 39 seconds on Pi 3 B+, while Python takes 56 seconds!![:)]( "Smile")
