Beginners • Re: Very beginner help needed

Ok, I just found that there is a Raspberry PI kit for dummies. So now the question is: it has a raspberry PI 3. Is that good enough for the need that I have: able to save sensor data to sd card once per second?
If the Pi3B wasn't up to the job, they wouldn't have built the kit around it. I don't know about the "once per second" (which sounds like overkill for weather data to me), but you could start with the kit and then upgrade the Pi. All the interfaces are going to be the same. You'd just need to make sure that the current release of PiOS (Bookworm) supports all the required software. (Or with a Pi4B, you could use the "legacy" PiOS.)
