I've seen that some readers use Jivelite Squeeze Player, others use LMS & Squeezelite or Mopidy.
Compared to MDP, are these configurations equivalent ?
Sorry but I have no idea not having used those.
I tested DietPi, I thought I read that it was an audio player but in fact it's just a simple minimalist distribution, a bit weird to configure with its menus. If I have to use a base, I prefer Raspbian.
Do you really mean Raspbian or do you actually mean Raspberry Pi OS? They are not the same thing and I'd use RPiOS over Raspbian.
