Troubleshooting • Re: Did I make a mistake?

First of all I work from home, this is not some clandestine op to circumvent anything. Even the IT folks acknowledge that my use case makes sense but their policies don’t have any wiggle room. We are talking about productivity, I have to download the photos to a thumb drive on my personal machine then copy them over, it sounds simple but it slows you down. I am not sure what that has to do with anything anyway. Nothing nefarious going on here.

If this can’t be done than so be it, for me this is just a personal project in which I can learn something by doing. I am just a guy who is writing a forum seeking some help with something I want to learn that will help me do a better job. Over the years I have occupied my spare time with dozens of projects like this, some work related and others were related to my smart home. Not sure why the pile on but I thought this is what forums were for, to help each other.

Sorry for the rant, I am just trying to figure out why you all got so triggered. If I need to give more information, I can give it; If my request is upsetting to you, just don’t respond; if I spent to much, who cares. I guess you were just born knowing everything, unfortunatly I wasn’t and I am still learning.
