With the latest update you should not need the "--libav-format mpegts" argument. If it is still needed, the the changed that were made need looking at again. I've tested this with ffplay on the client side.
As for UDP, again, I've tried it with ffplay on the client side and it looks to be working as expected. Not tried with VLC.
