Python • Bluetooth - Transferring Data from one RPi to another RPi

I would like to transfer data from one Raspberry Pi to another Raspberry Pi.
They are about 3 metres apart.
Is this possible to do this using Bluetooth and if so, could someone please advise what is needed to achieve the transfer,
