Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.) • Getting OWFS to work on a ramdisk

I thought I had figured out how to get OWFS working on a ramdisk on the Raspberry PI but looking into it further it doesn't work.

I added the following in the fstab file;

tmpfs /mnt/1wire tmpfs nodev,nosuid,size=16M 0 0

then I did the "sudo mount -a" command and checked it with the "df" command. The df command actually shows that it made it however once the system is rebooted it doesn't show up again. Figure the owfs configuration must mount the drive before the fstab does so it never gets setup as ram.

Anyone have any ideas. Just trying to keep the SD card from constantly getting written to by owfs.
