Hi, thanks for your help.

I checked and the text 'dtoverlay-disable-bt' is in both files ie. /boot/config.txt and /boot/firmware/config.txt.

My results from your commands...

pi@Pi3-IQAudio-15b4:~ $ sudo vclog --msg | grep bt
002659.080: brfs: File read: /mfs/sd/overlays/disable-bt.dtbo
002676.021: Loaded overlay 'disable-bt'

and

pi@Pi3-IQAudio-15b4:~ $ dmesg | grep -i blue
pi@Pi3-IQAudio-15b4:~ $

I think that's correct but bluetooth still advertises and still works.
