I meant a fresh copy of your original system (the backup you started with). I didn't want you to run rpi5-boot on an altered system.
What is the functional difference at this point? The way I see it, all I'd achieve is having a rpi5 with an outdated OS. Why would I want that?

I'm sorry, I thought you wanted to avoid reinstalling everything on a fresh install of Bookworm and also avoid having a frankensystem.

Please ignore my previous posts.
I mean, I wouldn't be adverse to not having a "frankensystem", I just prefer it over having outdated software. If there's a quick and easy way of going from what I have now to a not-frankensystem that runs Bookworm I'd be fine with that.

EDIT: Obviously if there's more concrete issues than "you may or may not have problems in the future" I'm also open to hearing about those.
