Interesting that so many people still have a problem with this.
To briefly clarify my situation...
Fresh copy of 2023-12-11-raspios-bookworm-armhf-lite.img copied to SSD
Usual edits made to config.txt and commandline.txt as the links below
Connect USB data cable from Intel NUC running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS to Pi zero
Apply power via the usb/power socket
Pi fires up fine. However...
On the NUC in settings/network, I have a new interface "USB Ethernet", but it's disabled saying "Cable unplugged"
The cable is obviously plugged in and working and it would seem that USB Ethernet is working to some extent.
What have I done wrong please ??
