Beginners • Flashing an LED driver for milliseconds

I want to flash 4 3w star LED's I have a mains driver for

I'm guessing I will need a relay, a transistor and a capacitor to do this AND the capacitor capacity will be how long it flashes for

If I read it right I use the LED driver to charge the capacitor then the transistor to let the current flow and flash the LED's

Is this even possible? Will I just break the driver?

AND how do I work out WHICH capacitor I should use?
