Two different products. These are made of metal and fairly chunky. Can't say I have really hammered them, but they haven't heated up for me yet.I have three Pi's running the Samsung Fit Plus SSD/pens, they work excellently for most usage but writes are slower, I've never tried hammering them like I have with normal SATA SSD's, they get warm easily under what I would consider moderate loads.I use one of these:

as recommended somewhere on here last year, on my pi5. It is an SSD in a USB stick. No issues booting, or in day to day use, and pretty fast. No adaptor required
There was a thread somewhere on here that recommended them:

The difference is these are SSD in an larger old Pendrive setup casing,
The Samsung Fit Plus, like the SanDisk ultra fit are not SSDs but Flash.
I've not used the pendrive ssd, but they're similar to the external case SSDs with a USB cable (or the diy ssd Pendrive casing). Though all nicely premade and I hope feel robust.
And a lot faster than the flash Pendrive.
You can't compare them unless it the casing...
