The pages you have issues with, do they auto refresh? That could cause that. When pages refresh, they usually will go back all the way to the top (unless programmed not to do so on purpose).
I don't think that's your case, but worth asking to rule it out.

I believe auto refresh is exactly the problem. I dont know how to prove it though.
