LibreOffice will be the best you can manage on Linux. docx format still has some Microsoft-specific wrinkles, and MS is more likely to get the fonts correct than fontconfig ever will.
Do you have exactly matching fonts installed on your Raspberry Pi as are installed on the source machine? That might make things go a long way to better output. fontconfig tends to do some well-meaning substitution
