Totally get it if you want to package up a bunch of "stuff" (especially 3.5" HDDs). However, folks seem to be talking about a mini ITX form factor Pi "PC", which to me translates to SBC, NVMe SSD, fan and perhaps an audio HAT. You could do it with a SSD and USB/SATA adaptor but a NVMe SSD and BASE/HAT/(whatever you call the tiny adaptor "HATs") is likely as cheap and packages better. Something packaged along the lines of a Pico-ITX likely makes more sense.Well it made sense for me when I built my Pi based NAS. Tidiest and easiest way to power and house a CM4, CM4IO, PCIe packet switch, 2 x SATA controllers, and a mix of 2.5" SSD, 2.5" HDD, and 3.5" HDDs.Why would I want vast tracks of wasted space? Feel free to explain it like I am 5.
Doesn't make sense to me as a competitor to a "noral" Pi case though.
