This is the out im getting with the verbose output for SSH.
I had copied the rsa key to the pi using into file /etc/.ssh/authorized_keys
The local key is store at /home/wovenoptics/.ssh/id_rsa
Im completely baffled by the fact that in the windows OS, I was able to ssh into the deivice and use my username and pass to login to the pi but the same exact steps doesn't work with linux.
Some more background:
- Static IP address is 192.168.7.2
- In linux, I set the usb0 ethernet interface to the same static ip address.
- in the wire connection setting, local link was tuned on in IPv4 tab and IPv6 was disabled
- Also, I had flashed a new rpi OS using the Imager software with the username and password being set there it self and SSH being enabled
