When you say that the executable part of the firmware is signed, do you also mean that there is a public key of some sort embedded into the RPI hardware which is used to verify whether the firmware has the correct signature? If yes, is it possible to override that key somehow?nope, its been erasedIs it still possible to do so? I understand that user changes are preserved, but what about other data that was overwritten during the update? Is the previous version of EEPROM somewhere in the file system?
but the executable part of the firmware is signed with an unknown method, and i have yet to find any way to replace it or tamper with files
