There is a big N-channel MOSFET.

And this is why we need a schematic. I thought they were directly connected and, if not, how does one use the Pi 5 USB-C as an OTG connection, or is that not possible ? And how does a Pi 5 work out to turn the MOSFET on or not ? How does it tell 5V is coming from the GPIO header rather than USB-C being fed to the header ?
