Indeed is is not there. I must have mixed up the output ofredvli is mistaken. The 32-bit OS image doesn't have the 2712 16k page kernel. It isn't compatible.From your reply I'm now trying to figure how you can have a 2712 kernel on a 32-bit install, or is that a slight bending of the description to try and maintain the any-card-in-any-Pi philosophy?

with
ls -al /boot
on a 32-bit system. Or what is on the rpi linux/firmware github.
For a Pi0 and Pi1 it are quite some unused files, that is what bothered me. In the past I also removed unused DTBs and overlays, but that was when doing full-custom changes so then keep it simple only dedicated for the particular Pi.
