Beginners • Plex and Pi-Hole

Over the years I have had a lot of experience with mainfrome and desktop computers and of quite a few compter laguages. Now, well into rtetiremnent, I have started playing with the Raspberry Pi and with Linux.

Just recently I set up my Pi 5 to run CasaOS and I then installed Plex. Now I use, infrequntly and lightly, Plex on my Pi to stream music etc to my other devices.

I am also an avid viewer of YouTube videos on all things Pi.

My latest interest is in setting up Pi-Hole on my Pi. I can see that Pi-Hole is available from the CasaOS app store, so I will have no problems downloading and installing Pi-Hole

My questions are these:-

1. Can a Plex Media Server and Pi-hole be run on the 8 GB Pi 5 at the same time?
2. If so is this a sensible setup or is the Pi onlt really capable of running one or the other?
3. If I set up Pi-Hole on my Pi 5 via CasaOS does this affect the setup in any way?
4. Can you suggest a video or blog (or both) that gives medeyails of the setup procedure for Pi-Hole?

I appreciate that I am asking a lot but I have found, in the past, that this forum is the best place to ask these questions.
