Great to hear you've got it operational between two Raspberry Pi Devices - this is the sort of use case I was hoping to see people drive, and if it's proving useful that's a great relief.Am using the Beta Connect software Between two RPi4 computers, but ever since I installed the software it seems to affect my mouse click commands.
I have had problems with RSI of my wrist, so I use a trackball with my left hand with the two L and R click positions swapped over. I use my 'main' RPi4 to operate three RPI3s that I have ongoing use to monitor and record weather data.
But now that I have installed the connect software, when I use the realVNC to operate the software fix that swaps the mice L and R buttons randomly switches around and I find that hold and highlighting text need my pinky finger.
Is this a bug in the connect software or just something that is happening because the free realVNC service is stopping?
Your problem is definitely a strange one - I don't believe Connect will in any way modify your input device mappings, but it's quite possible that it may have introduced some latency that caused you to misclick or similar.
Could you please point us at the software you're using to swap L & R?
