I did end up installing Bullseye and actually was able to get pibooth installed, but I was never able to get pibooth (or my Pi) to recognize the "Camera Module 3" camera I had plugged in.
It's times like these I wish my local library's drop-in computer help had people who could help with Pi programming stuff—someone just to be able to say "oh, you're missing this part... just type these few sentences into the terminal and that should fix it"
Is there a service out there where you can Amazon-ship someone the parts and they install everything, makes sure it works as it should, and then sends it to you?
