Troubleshooting • Re: Raspberry Pi 4 USB I/O is broken and it seems that no one cares to fix it; I'm now 100% convinced

Does the problem only happen at night? I haven't seen it for a long time but the system cron jobs at midnight used to disrupt my 24/7 Pi's, not seen the problem since I have used large swap files (2 X ram).
Not necessarily. I was on occasion able to see this problem in front of me where things fell apart quickly while I'm in the ssh session. Basically all files in the system (or external drive, which I also tried) become inaccessible.
Just to check. Are you running at default clock speeds and have you tried reverting back to the original 1500 MHz? That was the default at the release of the Pi 4.
