Another thought; what about conductive pads, as used with LCD connections ?

You mean the rubbery, conductive strips on the side of the LCD? Interesting, thank you!

As I see in a design guide for these so called Zebra strips (or Elastomeric connectors) they are ~custom made for a pad pitch, pad length, pad pitch...
I couldn't find a place to buy these "off the European shelf" - and the custom word might mean not so cheap in small quantities - but I might be wrong -> I'll keep them in mind.

Coming back to the pogo pins for TP2 and TP3 that fit in the ~2.7mm space under the Pico W board when using Clipzin - any suggestions?

These pins coupled with the V+, V- from the Clipzin should allow redirecting the onboard micro USB to a short USB-A cable nicely connected to the enclosure.

Not sure if the pins I previously found (also below) are OK - through hole (I think).
