I have been using a Raspberry pi 4 for about 5 years as a Plex server
Never had a problem that installing the update didn't fix
About 2 months ago all 3 TV's timed out connecting to Plex giving "Checking connection speed to raspberrypi" and no videos would open.
Since I had other network issues, (2 TV's would randomly show Network cable disconnected) I upgraded my Mesh routers to a TP-Link Deco 6e setup.
The TV in my Study that is on the same mesh branch does connect to Plex now
The other two on different segments get the time out issue.
One TV is on the main Router, the 2nd is on the 3rd Mesh segment.
Using the TP-Link software, I was able to set the raspberry pi as PRIORITY on the mesh segment and both TV's as Priority on their segments.
Still get the timeout error.
I did install the latest Plex software and did all updates on the raspberrypi.
I loaded the SPEEDTEST software on the raspberry and it shows:
Download > 318.78 Mbit/s
Upload > 278.12 Mbit/s
I didn't test this before, so don't know what the other Router speed was but this seams like it should be significant to stream media?
Any suggestions welcome
