[shared}
create mask = 0666
directory mask = 0666
path = /home/usr/shared
read only = No
That's not the entire output from testparrm -s is it?
I am prepared to put money on it not being the entire output from testparm, why do people not do what is asked of them ?

So, how is anyone supposed to enter the new directories if the enter/traverse bit isn't set ?
That path is, in my opinion, a stupid place to put a a share, try '/srv/shared' instead, '/home' is meant for the users home
directories.
