Troubleshooting • Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Not Booting – Continuous ACT LED Blinking

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. The device suddenly stopped displaying anything on the monitor, and the ACT LED blinks continuously at a regular frequency. I suspect it might not be reading the SD card properly, but despite several attempts to troubleshoot, the problem persists. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1. Power Supply and Connections:
- I'm using the official Raspberry Pi 5V 3A power supply.
- I've tried different HDMI cables and monitors.

2. SD Cards:
- I’ve tested with multiple SD cards, all of which are known to work on other devices.
- I’ve formatted the SD cards using the SD Card Formatter and flashed the latest Raspberry Pi OS.

3. Bootloader and EEPROM:
- I used Raspberry Pi Imager to write the EEPROM recovery image to an SD card.
- Inserted the SD card and powered on the Pi, but the ACT LED continues to blink without changing its pattern.
- Followed the steps to update the bootloader from the Raspberry Pi documentation but still no success.

4. Hardware Inspection:
- I’ve inspected the board for any visible damage.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. The ACT LED blinks continuously in a short, regular pattern, and there is no output on the monitor.

I don’t have a USB-to-TTL serial cable to get more detailed diagnostics. I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any further suggestions or has encountered a similar issue.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
