@6by9As it was going to be a 5 minute change, I've done it and created https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/pull/5859.
Once CI has completed (takes around 35mins, so around 17:15 GMT today), you should be able to run "sudo rpi-update pulls/5859" to update your kernel to include those patches. It is also a 6.6 kernel, so do not do this on a critical system.
Thanks for writing this patch. It looks like something is 404ing when I run this command -- maybe the build artifact has been garbage collected since you created the branch a few months ago. Is that easy to fix?
In the mean time, I'll build this branch for myself.
