For the record, though this is a month later, the microcenter in Westmont Illinois US is currently in stock on the 27W power supply for the pi5, with 25+ units stated as being in hand.I know, and it's weird to me that Micro Center appears to have messed up on getting supply of this item - which is probably hurting their sales of Pi 5 boards (given shipping costs, not many people are going to buy the board at MC - which must be done in person - if they have to pay shipping anyway to an online retailer to get the PSU). They're clearly an outlier here ... yet probably the best known of the official resellers.In the United States it looks like every official retailer except Micro Center has the official 27W power supply.
MC is also the only one of the official resellers I have a reasonable chance to visit in person (seems most are online only anyway). So I'd like to buy from them - they have a lot of other cool stuff to check out as well. But if/when I get a Pi 5 (and accessories) I may just buy it elsewhere.
