The Jmicron adapters work on the PI4/400....IF you make the minor modifications described in the sticky that I posted.Get a ferrite clamp for your SATA lead, put one as close to the Pi as you can .... a ferrite clamp at the other end(s) may help as well.
As said, Jmicron chipset generally doesn't work well with linux as a boot drive. Asmedia chipsets normally work.
Your Sigma SSD probably can be powered by your Pi4 provided you haven't got any other serious power draws on USB, mice, non-LED keyboards. and Bluetooth dongles should be ok but not much else. I could find a current/power spec for the SSD.
I used one for ages on a PI400. No extra power supply needed. Without the mods mentioned, it was unusable.
