NO Connecting NICAD battery's to a LIPO charger is a bad idea. As is setting up a series arrangement of rechargeable batteries. You run the risk of one battery trying to recharge another. Something like that, everything I've read says its a bad idea.
Who was talking about NiCads?
It is common practice to charge in series without equalisation, loads of situations have it:- power tools, car batteries, wireless house phones, electric shavers, torches etc etc. In fact just about every rechargeable device that was in common usage before the Lithium evolution.
NiMH are one of the more forgiving rechargeable technologies.
