Hi! I have a complete project with a 12v lipo battery (3cells) a 12v servo, an lm2596 step-down to power a ssd1306 screen with a rotatory encoder and the pico.
The problem is, now i want to measure the capacity of the lipo battery to show on the screen but I think I can't use the lm2596 to calculate it because it sends an stable voltage and most of the modules/chips I see are only for 1 cell lipos like the max17043. Other option is to make a resistor step-down but my knowledge around them are zero and I'm not comfortable playing with resistors around a pico with 12v (I know this because I already bricked 1 pico last week researching this... the freaking main chip has a hole in it )
What are my options? Remember that the lipo battery has 3 cells.
Thank you!!
